ELECTION PETITIONS

Relief which may be claimed

35. All or any of the following reliefs to which thepetitioner may be entitled may beclaimed in an election petition:

(a) a declaration that the election is void;

(b) a declaration that the person was not duly elected orought not to have been returned;

(c) (Deleted by Act A1177);

(d) where the seat is claimed for an unsuccessfulcandidate on the ground that he had a majority of lawful votes, a scrutiny.
