What remedies are available in the first instance?

Article 112-1. 10. The expert that investigates thecomplaint must issue an opinion within the period established by Article112.10. If additional investigation is needed, the relevant election commissioncan make a decision. Such a decision must be made within 3 days from the dateof receipt of complaint, and immediately on Election Day.

112-1.11. Membersof the expert groups that investigate the complaints can make the followingopinions:

112-1.11.1. on cancellation of the decision of a lowerelection commission;

112-1.11.2. on warning the election subject in conformitywith Article 113.1 of the Election Code;

112-1.11.5.on instructing to re-examine the issue raised by the applicant by the relevantelection commission;

Article 113. 1. If a candidate, registered candidate, politicalparty, bloc of political parties, or referendum campaign group violates theprovisions of this Code, the relevant election commission shall warn thecandidate, registered candidate, political party, bloc of political parties, orreferendum campaign group through the mass media, providing the voters areinformed. The election commission shall have the right to make a decision on thefollowing issues irrespective of whether or not a complaint considering Article112.2 of this Code was made about them:

• invalidation of the election of a candidate; or

• cancellation of a decision on voting results orelection returns.
