Artículociento treinta y dos.

1. Desde lafecha de la convocatoria hasta el cent?simo d?a posterior a la celebraci?n delas elecciones, la Junta Electoral Central y las Provinciales velar?n por elcumplimiento de las normas establecidas en los art?culos anteriores de estecap?tulo (Nota: cap?tulo sobre Gastos electorales). Aestos efectos, la Junta Electoral Central podr? recabar la colaboraci?n delTribunal de Cuentas.

2. La Junta Electoral Central y las Provinciales podr?n recabar en todomomento de las entidades bancarias y de las Cajas de Ahorro el estado de lascuentas electorales, n?meros e identidad de los impositores y cuantos extremosestimen precisos para el cumplimiento de su funci?n fiscalizadora.

3. Asimismo, podr?n recabar de los administradores electorales lasinformaciones contables que consideren necesarias y deber?n resolver porescrito las consultas que ?stos les planteen.

4. Si de sus investigaciones resultasenindicios de conductas constitutivas de delitos electorales, lo comunicar?n alMinisterio Fiscal para el ejercicio de las acciones oportunas. Las mismasJuntas sancionar?n las infracciones en esta materia, conforme a lo dispuesto enel art?culo 153 de esta Ley.

5. Asimismo las Juntas Electorales informar?n al Tribunal de Cuentas de losresultados de su actividad fiscalizadora.

Article 132

1. From the day of the calling of theelections up until one hundred days after Election Day, the Central ElectoralCommission and the Provincial Electoral Commissions shall ensure the complianceof the previous articles of this Chapter (NB articles on election expenses).For these purposes, the Central Electoral Commission may ask for the Court ofAudit cooperation.

2. The CentralElectoral Commission and the Provincial Electoral Commissions may, at anymoment, demand from Banks and Saving Banks the electoral accounts bankstatement, the depositors’ numbers and identity as well as any other data theyconsider necessary  to fulfill theirsupervisory functions. (…)

3.Furthermore, the Central Electoral Commission and the Provincial ElectoralCommissions may demand from the electoral trustees the accountability informationthey consider as necessary and shall answer in writing the queries thosetrustees raise.

4. If the Central Electoral Commission or the Provincial ElectoralCommissions, after their investigations, find indications of electoral crimesthis shall be communicated/submitted to the Public Prosecutor in order toexercise the due actions. TheElectoral Commissions themselves will punish the offences committed in thismatter, as established by article 153 of this Law.

5.Electoral Commissions shall also report to the Court of Audit about theaftermath of their supervisory functions.

SECTION 4

Electoral offences

Article 153

1. All violations of the binding rules provided in this Law which arenot crimes shall be punishable by the competent Electoral Commission. The finewill be of 300 to 3.000 euros in the case of authorities or civil servants andof 100 to 1.000 in the case of an individual.

2. This Law’s provisions as regards electoral surveys’ violations shallbe punished with a fine of 3.000 to 30.000 euros.
