What remedies are available in the first instance?

Law No1/ 22 of September 18, 2009 amending law N?1/015 of April 20, 2005 regardingthe Electoral Code / Loi No1/ 22 du 18 septembre 2009 portant r?vision de laloi N?1/015 portant Code ?lectoral

Art. 80 : Ifthe Constitutional Court finds purely clerical errors, it shall proceed to therectification of erroneous results.

Art. 81 : Ifthe Constitutional Court finds irregularities that, without being of a purelyclerical nature, are not likely to have influenced in a decisive way theelection results, due to their minor importance and their small number, itshall issue a statement that shall be annexed to the record of announcement ofthe results and submit a copy to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Art. 82 : Ifthe Constitutional Court finds irregularities that may have influenced in adecisive way the election results, it cancels the election, fully or partially.

A partialcancellation shall only cover the polling stations where irregularities haveoccurred.

L’annulationen partie ne peut porter que sur les seuls bureaux de vote dans lesquels sesont produites les irr?gularit?s. ?)
