Статья 79. Право законодательнойинициативы принадлежит:

1) 10 тысячам избирателей (народнаяинициатива);

2) депутату Жогорку Кенеша;

3) Правительству.

Статья 114.

1. Закон о внесении изменений в настоящую Конституциюможет быть принят референдумом, назначаемым Жогорку Кенешем.

2. Изменения в положения третьего, четвертого, пятого,шестого, седьмого и восьмого разделов настоящей Конституции могут приниматьсяЖогорку Кенешем по предложению большинства от общего числа депутатов ЖогоркуКенеша либо по инициативе не менее 300 тысяч избирателей.

Внимание! В соответствии с Законом КР от 27 июня 2010года положения части второй статьи 114 вступают в силу с 1 сентября 2020 года

Article 10. Initiative of Conducting a Referendum

1. The initiative of conducting a referendum shall belongto:
1) the President of the Kyrgyz Republic;
2) not fewer than 300 thousand voters;
3) the majority of the total number of deputies of the Zhogorku Kenesh of theKyrgyz Republic.

Comment

Note: Agenda initiative to amend the Constitution will be effective only after September 1, 2020. See Article 114 of the Constitution.
