Article114. Initiative Group for Holding the Republican Referendum

Incase an initiative to hold the republican referendum is put forth by thecitizens, they shall form  a group forholding the referendum (hereinafter referred to as the 'initiativegroup'), which shall include not less than 100  citizens, enjoying suffrage, from each Oblastand the City of Minsk on the basis of approximately equal representation.

Article 72

The recall of deputies shall beexercised to the order and instances as determined by the law.

The voting for the recall of adeputy shall be exercised to the order determined for the election of thedeputy, and on the initiative of no less than 20 percent of the citizenseligible to vote and resident in the corresponding area.

The reason and order for the recallof a member of the Council of the Republic shall be determined by the law.

Article 97

The House of Representatives shall:

1. consider draft laws put forwardby the President or submitted by no less than 150 thousand citizens of theRepublic of Belarus, who are eligible to vote, to make amendments andalterations in the Constitution and give its interpretation;

The right of legislative initiativeshall belong to the President, members of the House of Representatives, Councilof the Republic, Government, as well as to citizens who are eligible to vote,in a number of no less than 50,000, and is implemented in the House ofRepresentatives.
