What remedies are available in the first instance?

Article46.(1) At the conclusion of the trial of an election petition the countsas to Constitutional Court shall determine validity of election (a)whether the election was valid; (b) whether the election was void; or (c) whethera recount of the ballot papers is required or not;(d) whether the nomination ofa proportionately elected member of the National Assembly was valid;(e) whetherthe nomination of a proportionately elected member of the National Assembly wasvoid, and shall certify the determination to the Electoral Commissioner.
