13. Is there a ban on donations from any other source?

Art 11.b, 'Refrain from accepting any donations , cash or in-kind contributions of money that the candidate knows or he may have been collected from illegal sources like stolen money or donations from Institutions contrary to the law or funds from persons wanted for justice.' Art 25.b, 'The party may accept grants and donations only from Jordanian individuals, provided that they are known and declared and that the total grant shall not be more than fifty thousand dinars annually per natural person.'Art 25. c, 'The party may not accept grants,funding or donations or in- kindcontributions from the following:1. Any state or a third party.2. Any legal personality; be it publicor private .3. Any unknown source' (Source: Political Parties Law 2012)
All forms of entities are banned from making donations, since only Jordanian individuals are allowed to do so. Contributions from suspected illegal sources also forbidden.
