Who drafts the referendum question?

The body who initially proposes a referendum on a particular issue is responsible for drafting the referendum question.

The proposal for a national referendum should include one or more questions that people answer 'yes' or 'no.' Due to art. 13 (6) of the law, the National Assembly can only edit the referendum question without changing the meaning of the proposal contained in the question or questions or change their order.

Also, 1/5 of the city councils in the country can propose a referendum and its question.
