What remedies are available in the first instance?

?        The NationalElections Act (CAP 343)2010

?        Article 112 In instituting an election petition,a petitioner may claimall or any of the following reliefs to which he may be entitled,namely-

(a)a declaration that the election is void;

(b) a declaration that the nomination of the person elected was invalid

(c) a declaration that any other candidate was elected

(d)where the seat is claimed for an unsuccessful candidate on the groundthat he had a majority of lawful votes,a scrutiny
