31. What are the provisions on 'ear marking' direct public funding to political parties (how it should be used)?

The Revised Political Parties Registration No. 573/2008, 24 September 2008

Art 46 (1 and 2)"A Political party shall utilize the support granted to it only for the intended purpose. The day to day activity of a political party includes the following:
a) the customary day to day activity of political party; b) developing political consciousness of the public; c) acquainting the public with the aims of the party;
d) agitation to enable citizens to have active participation in the political activity of the country; e) strengthening harmonious relationship between the public and the government institutions."
