Section 84. An election court shall award the costsof and incidental to a petition and such costs shall follow the cause.
82. (1) Anelection court may, on its own motion or on application by any party to the petition, during thehearing of an election petition, order for a scrutiny of votes to be carriedout in such a manner as the election court may determine
Section 80(4)An election court may by order direct the Commission to issue a certificate ofelection to a President, a member of Parliament or a member of a countyassembly if—(a) upon recount of the ballots cast, the winner isapparent; and
that winneris found not to have committed an election offence.
