"15(a) The Knesset member shall submit to the chairman of the Knesset... a declaration which contains the following details... 16(a) (A) The Chairmen of the Knesset shall maintain confidentiality the statements of Knesset members and will not reveal any details of them, except with the consent of Member of the Knesset declaring or at the request of Court; b) The Chairmen of the Knesset may, if he believes that circumstances justify this, to report non-compliance of this chapter or a deviation from it by a member of the Knesset to the Ethics Committee of the Knesset and to bring to its attention its findings; c) should the Charimen of the Knesset see that there is concern for a criminal offense, he shall bring the matter to the attention of the Attorney General."

"2 (a)The Head of the Authority shall submit to the judge [Retired judge of the Supreme Court or the District Court determined by the President of the Supreme Court], on a form set by the judge, a declaration with the following particulars... 2a) The obligation to submit a declaration under the provisions of section 2 shall also apply to the deputy head of an authority... 3) The judge shall keep the confidentiality of statements given to him under section 2 or section 2a and shall not reveal any detail of them except with the consent of the head of the authority or the deputy... or upon the request of the Attorney General or of the court."

The Chairmen of the Kneseet is responsible for reviewing the assets declaration of MPs. A retired judge appointed by the president of the Supreme Court is responsible for reviewing the assets declaration of head of local authorities and their deputies.
