Art.5.1. '(1): [private contributions are allowed] from natural or legal persons whose activities are legal;(2): With reference to paragraphs (b) to (g) of subsection (1), political parties cannot receive private provision exceeding five thousand euro (? 5,000) per year from natural or legal persons [...] who are participating in casino capitals or betting agencies; (f) from legal persons which have their legal residence in Cyprus for less than three years'. Comment
Contributions to parties from illegal undertakings are banned. Contributions from individuals or companies which use or exercise control over casinos or betting agencies are capped at 5000 ?.
