13. Is there a ban on donations from any other source?

Electoral Law (2004)  and Lei do Financiamento politico, Diario da Republica (2012)

Art. 94 of the Electoral Law (2004) states that public law associations, public institutes, public companies, local governments and their agencies, as public interest associations and corporate entities are prohibited. In art 6 of Lei do Financiamento politico states that 'Political Parties or Coalition of Parties may not receive, at any time, title, contributions of pecuniary and economic value from a) autonomous bodies of the State; b) Local State bodies; c) associations of public law, public institutes and legal persons of administrative public utility.
