Articles230-259 of the Law on Election to Public Offices specify detailed penalties forelection and campaign-related offences. Many of these articles specify separatepenalties if the offender is an election official or law enforcement/militarypersonnel.
Article 256.2.2.4 specifies penalties for violating provisions on theprotection of those who report or otherwise assist in the investigation ofelection or campaign-related offences.
