Article 181. Any person who offers,promises, or gives a voter or arranges for a voter to be given a gift or otheradvantage in return for voting in a particular way, or in return for signing orrefusing to sign a request for a referendum or an initiative,

 

anyperson who offers, promises, or gives a voter or arranges for a voter to begiven a gift or other advantage in return for not participating in an electionor vote, and

 

anyperson who as a voter secures the promise of or arranges for himself to begiven such an advantage,

isliable to a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetarypenalty.

 

Article283. Any person who obtains knowledge by unlawful meansof how individuals have voted is liable to a custodial sentence not exceedingthree years or to a monetary penalty.
