Who may file a complaint?

• Article 7(12) of the Political Parties and Organisations Act, 2005
• Date of commencement: 21^st November 2005
• (12) Where the Electoral Commission—

(a) refuses toregister a political party or organization under this section; or

(b) fails to processthe application within the time prescribed in subsection (11),

the applicant may,in writing, petition the High Court for an order requiring the

Electoral Commissionto process the application.
