 (1)Any candidate or political parties thatparticipated in an election or referendum shall have the right to submit awritten objection against the provisional results of a polling centre orelections or referendum as declared by the commission

The NationalElections Act, 2012 does not distinguish between presidential and legislativeissues when it comes to dispute settlement. It gives general provisions for thetwo instances.     It should be notedthat the election act only permits parties and candidates to appeal againstresults, but not voters.
