Legal provisions for direct democracy at the regional level
Jamaica
The website of the Electoral Commission of Jamaica only lists one referendum, a vote on membership in a West Indies IGO, which occurred in 1961, before the promulgation of the 1962 Constitution.
A full reading of the Constitution (two versions, since one was not available from the Jamaican government website) and the Electoral Commission (Interim) Act 2006 does not indicate provision for any of the above.
