(5) In the submitted list of candidates for Deputies referred to in paragraph (2) of this Article and for members of the council of the municipality and the city of Skopje of paragraph (3) of this Article, at least 40% of its candidates belong to the less represented gender: in every three places at least one place belongs to the less represented gender and additionally at least one place each Ten seats. (Article 64)
(1) With the exception of Article 153 of this Code, if a woman is the MP elected from the list of candidates, and to whom the term of office has ceased on one of the basics laid down in Article 152 of this law, then for the remainder of the mandate, the Assembly MP becomes the next candidate on the list of women.
(2) The State Election Commission shall notify the next female candidate on the list in cases of paragraph (1) of this Article, within three days of the term in office of the Mp.
(3) If the next candidate woman on the list of paragraph (2) of this Article does not notify the State electoral commission within eight days of accepting the mandate, that right is transferred to the the next female candidate on the list. (Article 153a)
