Legal sanctions for non-compliance

Election of senators: If a declaration does not meet the conditions provided for in the preceding articles, the prefect refers the matter to the administrative court within twenty-four hours, which rules within three days. Its judgment can only be contested before the constitutional council seized of the election. (Article 303)
