Legal sanctions for non-compliance

(1) In the case where some documents required to register as a candidate as mentioned in Article 248 is not yet fulfilled, the KPU, Provincial KPU, or Regency/City KPU shall reject the documents and return them to the nominating political party contesting in a legislative election.

(2) In the case where a list of candidates fails to meet a minimum women representation of 30% (thirty percent), the KPU, Provincial KPU, or Regency/City KPU shall provide an opportunity for the nominating political party to revise the list of candidates they submit. (Article 249).
