1. Is there a ban on donations from foreign interests to political parties?

Direct or/and indirect funding or material support of any kind for the electoral campaign of candidates in an election and of electoral contestants by foreign countries, foreign, international or joint enterprises, institutions, organisations, as well as by individuals who are not citizens of the Republic of Moldova is prohibited. Donations with funds not accumulated on Moldovan territory is prohibited.
