15. Is there a ban on state resources being given to or received by political parties or candidates (excluding regulated public funding)?

There are restrictions on public officers in political party activities and states that a public officer is not eligible to be a? founding member of a political party; not eligible to hold office in a political party; should not engage in political activity that may compromise or be seen to compromise political neutrality of that person?s office; not publicly indicate support for or opposition to any political party or candidate in an election. How ever these restrictions do not apply to the president, deputy president, a member of parliament, governor or a member of a county assembly.
