State aid is provided to cover the management costs of political parties, as well as that the support allocated to the contribution to the conversion of organization costs of their ordinary national congresses; and to contribute to the financing of their electoral campaigns within the framework general communal, regional and legislative elections. Political parties referred to above will be allocated an "additional annual support to" covering the costs related to the missions, studies and research carried out on their behalf by the qualified skills with a view to promoting research, analysis and innovation in areas relating to party and political activities.
This financial support from the State aims to serve the public interest, through assistance to political parties in order toenable them to fulfill their roles in the supervision of citizens and the strengthening of their support for the management ofpublic aff airs on the one hand, and to fight against the recourse of parties and candidates to illegal practices in matters of political and electoral financing and, consequently, to ensure transparency and equal opportunities between political formations and between the candidates, on the other hand
