34. Are there provisions for free or subsidized access to media for candidates?

The Independent High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) guarantees the right of access to means of audiovisual communication to all political groups during the precampaigning period. Time shares, distribution and broadcasting time of programs are allocated to the various candidates, candidate lists or parties.
