36. Is the provision of direct public funding to political parties tied to gender equality among candidates?

The amount of the endowment is reduced to:
- 95% of the endowment if the political party presents, for the legislative elections, lists comprising 23 candidates of one sex;
- 90% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising 22 candidates of one sex;
- 85% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising 21 candidates of one sex;
- 80% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising 20 candidates of one sex;
- 70% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising 19 candidates of one sex;
- 60% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising 18 candidates of one sex;
- 50% of the endowment if he presents lists comprising 17 candidates of one sex;
- 40% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising 16 candidates of one sex;
- 30% of the endowment if he presents lists comprising 15 candidates of one sex;
- 25% of the endowment if it presents lists comprising less than 15 candidates of one sex. (Article 2, Law on the financing of political parties)
