This is sometimes formally referred to as The Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia Act 1900 (an Act of the UK Parliament, voted on by the Australian colonies).   But the actual Constitution is a Schedule to that Act and now formally an autochthnonous Constitution of an independent nation.
