Who administers direct democracy mechanisms at the national level?

Article 2

Inaddition to the functions conferred on it by the Constitution, the Commission

shallhave power to:

(a)conduct voter and civic education.

(b)promote knowledge of sound democratic election processes.

(c)conduct any referendum required to be conducted pursuant to the provision ofthe 1999 Constitution or any other law or Act of the National Assembly.
