Article 173.
Referendum Procedure.
Political decisions of specialsignificance will have to be submitted to the referendum procedure involving allcitizens.
The referendum will be calledby the Supreme Electoral Tribunal on the initiative of the President of the Republic orthe Congress of the Republic, which will determine precisely the question or questions to besubmitted to the citizens.
The Constitutional ElectoralLaw shall regulate what is relative to this institution

Convocatoriay procedimiento. Deacuerdo con la Constitución Política de la República, la consulta popular sera convocadaen todos los casos por el Tribunal Supremo Electoral.
