Section 74 - Supervision ofconstitutionality

The Constitutional LawCommittee shall issue statements on the constitutionality of legislativeproposals and other matters brought for its consideration, as well as on theirrelation to international human rights treaties.

UnderSection 74 of the Constitution, the Constitutional Law Committee of the FinnishParliament may review the initiative for constitutionality once it is admittedto Parliament.
