When does voting take place once an initiative is qualified for ballot?

Votershave eight days to support the initiative by signing it at the competentmunicipal offices. The eight day period is decided by the Federal Minister ofthe Interior and can be as early as 8 weeks after accepting the initiative or 6months after accepting it at the latest.
