(2) There shallbe a by-election as soon as practicable after the occurrence of any casualvacancy in the membership of Parliament.
Comment
The petition for recall does notlead to a vote of the electorate. In thecase of a recall of a Minister of Parliament, a by-election would follow in theoccurrence of any casual vacancy in the membership of parliament.
