Article 106
(1) ThePresident may be recalled from his post before the end of his term of office bya plebiscite. A plebiscite on the recall of a President shall be declared bythe President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic on the basis of aresolution of the National Council of the Slovak Republic adopted by at least athree-fifths majority of all Members of Parliament within 30 days of theadoption of a resolution so that the plebiscite shall be held within 60 days ofits declaration.
(2) ThePresident shall be recalled if an absolute majority of all legitimate votersvotes for his or her recall in a plebiscite.
(3) If thePresident was not recalled in a plebiscite, the President shall dissolve theNational Council of the Slovak Republic within 30 days of the announcement ofthe results of the plebiscite. In such a case, a new presidential electoralterm shall begin. The President of the National Council of the Slovak Republicshall announce elections to the National Council of the Slovak Republic withinseven days of its dissolution.
(4) Furtherdetails on the recall of President shall be laid down by a law.
