Article144. Initiation of the republican referendum
(1) Republican referendummay be initiated by:
a) A number of atleast 200.000 citizens of the Republic of Moldova who arequalified voters. In case of constitutional referendum the provisions ofarticle 141 paragraph(1) entry a) of the Constitution shall apply.
