Article 15,Requirements inrelation to indicative referendum petition.

(1)Every signatory to anindicative referendum petition—

(a)shall, against his orher signature, state—

(i)his or her full name;and

(ii)his or herresidential address; and

(b)may, against his orher signature, state his or her date of birth.

 

(2)Failure by a signatory to complywith any of the requirements of subsection (1) shall not of itself prevent thesignature of that signatory from being used for the purposes of determining thenumber of signatures that must be checked in accordance with section 19.

Comment

Each signatory is required toprovide his or her full name and address, and may provide his or her date ofbirth.  However, failure to comply doesnot necessarily prevent the signature being used for the purposes ofdetermining the number of valid signatures supporting a petition.
