What forms of checks are undertaken to verify signatures?

For the recall of President orVice-president, no signatures by electors are require to start the formaldecision making stage of a recall. Recall process is proposed and initiated bythe Legislative Yuan.

For citizen initiatives’ process, the signature sheet obtainedwould be submitted to the election commission. There the election commissionwould examine the signatures and have the household registration organization verify the signatures.
