180 Applicationto District Court Judge for recount
(1) Anyconstituency candidate for a district may, within 3 working
days after thepublic declaration made under section 179
in respect ofthat district, apply to a District Court Judge for
the conduct, inrespect of that district, of a recount of the electorate
votes.
(2) Anysecretary of a political party that is listed on the part of the
ballot paperthat relates to the party vote may, within 3 working
days after thepublic declaration made under section 179 in
respect of adistrict, apply to a District Court Judge for the
conduct, inrespect of that district, of a recount of the party
votes.
181 Applicationby political party for recount in every electoral district
(1) Any secretary of a political party listed onthe part of the ballot paper that relates to the party vote may, instead ofmaking 1 or more separate applications for recounts under section 180(2), apply to the ChiefDistrict Court Judge for recounts of the party votes to be conducted in everyelectoral district.
(2) Every application under subsection(1) must be made within 3 working days after the date of the last publicdeclaration made under section179 for anyelectoral district.
258 Electoral petitions to Court of Appeal
(1) Anelectoral petition relating to the allocation of seats under sections 191 to193 may be presented to the Court of Appealby a secretary of a political party whose party was listed in the part of theballot paper that relates to the party vote.
259 Time for presentation of an election petitionto Court of Appeal
Anelection petition under section 258shall be presented within 28 days of the date of the declaration made under section 193(5)by the Electoral Commission.
