Requirement to hold a hearing

?        Article 110(3)Onthe trial of an election petition under this Act, the court may by order,compel the attendance of any person as a witness who appears to the court tohave been concerned in the election to which the petition refers, and anyperson refusing to obey such order commits an offence of contempt of court andthe court may examine any witness so compelled to attend or any party to thepetition and after the examination of such witness may be cross-examined by oron behalf of the petitioner, the respondent and the Attorney General or his representative,if present, or any of them.
