Electoral Act 2006, 96

Every election petitionshall be in such form contain such matters as may be prescribed by rules madeby the Chief Justice.

(2) An election petitionshall be presented to the High Court Principal Registry or District Registry bylodging it with the Registrar in accordance with this Act.

Constitution 1996, Articles 72 - An appeal from the determination of the High Court under this Articleshall lie to the Supreme Court:

Provided that an appeal shall lie to the SupremeCourt from any determination of the High Court on any question of law includingthe interpretation of this Constitution.

Comment
The judicial system comprises a Supreme Court (finalcourt of appeal), a High Court, an Industrial Relations Court and subordinatecourts and local courts. Law provides that appeals against legislative electiongo to High Court while appeals against presidential election go to the Supreme Court.
