145.
(1) The rules ofprocedure to be adopted for election petitions and appeals arising therefromshall be as set out in the First Schedule to this Act.
(2) The Presidentof the Court of Appeal may issue practice directions to election tribunals.

Rules of Procedurefor Election Petitions
Practice andprocedure of Court ofAppeal and Supreme Court
55. Subject to theprovisions of this Act, an appeal to the Court of Appeal or to the SupremeCourt shall be determined in accordance with the practice and procedurerelating to civil appeals in the Court of Appeal or of the Supreme Court, asthe case may be, regard being had to the need for urgency on electoral matters.

246. (1) An appeal to the Court ofAppeal shall lie as of right from -
[…]
(b) decisions of the NationalAssembly Election Tribunals and Governorship and Legislative Houses Election Tribunalson any question as to whether
(i) any person has been validlyelected as a member of the National Assembly or of a House of Assembly of aState under this Constitution,
(ii) any person has been validlyelected to the office of a Governor or Deputy Governor, or
(iii) the term of office of anyperson has ceased or the seat of any such person has become vacant.
(2) The National Assembly mayconfer jurisdiction upon the Court of Appeal to hear and determine appeals fromany decision of any other court of law or tribunal established by the NationalAssembly.
(3) The decisions of the Court ofAppeal in respect of appeals arising from election petitions shall be final.
