Art. 135: Allirregularities noted during the voting or at the time of the partial ornational tabulation of the results, may be challenged by way of judicial appeal,provided that they have been challenged and registered in the relevant minutes.

(“Todasas irregularidades verificadas durante a vota??o ou no momento de apuramentoparcial ou nacional dos resultados do escrut?nio podem ser impugnadas por viade recurso contencioso desde que tenham sido reclamadas ou protestadas nodecurso dos actos em que tenham sido verificadas.”)

 

Art. 139: The appealmust be lodged before the Supreme Court within 48 hours from the notificationof the National Electoral Commission.

(“Orecurso deve ser interposto no Supremo Tribunal de Justi?a no

prazode 48 horas a contar da notifica??o da CNE.”)

 

Art. 141 (2): TheSupreme Court shall notify the interested parties, so that they can submittheir observations by means of counter-claims within 48 hours.

Art. 142 (1): Within48 hours after the deadline for submission of counter-claims the plenary of theSupreme Court shall issue a final decision.

The Electoral Lawdoes not specify any deadline for the adjudication of the complaint by thefirst instance body (National Electoral Commission).
