Article (117): Any person with vested interest shall have theright to contest the results of Presidential elections. Contests shall besubmitted to the Supreme Court within (72) hours following the declaration ofresults. Each contest shall be based on reasons and shall be confined toballoting and vote-counting procedures. Each contestant shall be required to deposit with theCourt the total sum of YR 100,000 as a guarantee to be refunded in full ifcontest is sustained by Court. The same amount however shall beforfeited and credited to the State Treasury if the contest is overturned byCourt. 

Article (139): Subject to the provisions of this Law, allpetitions, appeals and protests lodged by contestants shall be exempt from all State and judicialtaxes, stamps and duties.
