57. — (2) A petition shall not be presented to theHigh Court unless that court, on application made to it in that behalf by or onbehalf of the person proposing to present the petition not later than 7 daysafter the declaration by the presidential returning officer of the result ofthe election, by order grants leave to the person to do so.
