Requirement to hold a hearing

?        Article 110(3)Onthe trial of an election petition under this Act, the court may by order, compelthe attendance of any person as a witness who appears to the court to have beenconcerned in the election to which the petition refers, and any person refusingto obey such order commits an offence of contempt of court and the court mayexamine any witness so compelled to attend or any party to the petition andafter the examination of such witness may be cross-examined by or on behalf ofthe petitioner the respondent and the Attorney General or his representative, ifpresent, or any of them.
