Requirement to hold a hearing

Art. 133(2): The Constitutional Council may, if it deems it necessary, hear any applicantor request the submission of evidence, against a receipt.

Art. 134: The Constitutional Council may, withoutprior adversarial

hearing, issue a reasoned decision to reject anypetition it considers

inadmissible or to be based solely on objections whichcannot influence the outcome of the election.
