Article 47Appeals

1. Appealsagainst the provisional tabulation of the national results published by CNEshall be filed within 24 hours of their posting with the plenary of STJ, whichshall immediately notify the interested parties and make a decision within thesame time limit.

Article 48

Proclamation ofresults and validation of election

1. Once appealshave been decided upon pursuant to item 1 of Article 47 above, or after thetime limit has been expired without any appeal being filed, STJ shall proceedto the analysis of the documents forwarded to it by CNE and shall issue adecision on the validation of the election for the President of the Republicand, through its President, it shall proclaim the final results within amaximum period of 72 hours, announcing mandatorily the total number ofregistered and voting electors, of blank and null and void votes, as well asthe number and respective percentage of the votes attributed to each candidateand the name of the elected candidate or the names of the two candidatesstanding in the run-off election.
