Maximum adjudication time for the full EDR process (days)

Articles (36):

The general committees shall probe all matters related to theballoting process and shall decide on the validity or in-validity of ballotingby voters.

Candidates may contest decisions made by the general electioncommittee with the Presidential Elections Commission exclusively.

The contest shall besubmitted latest during the day following the issuance of the contesteddecision. ThePresidential Elections

Commission shall decide onthe contest the next day, after hearing the contester's statement or afternotifying him to appear before it and his failure to do so.

The Commission shall set out rules and procedures to be followed inconsidering and deciding on such contests.
