Following thesuspension of the 2004 Constitution and the dissolution of the democraticinstitutions, the Central African Republic is currently in atransitional period, whereby the National Transitional Council is in charge ofadopting a new electoral law. TheTransitional Constitutional Court was established on 15 August 2013.
